Don't get too comfortable
Where does Battleborn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Battleborn is filled with flawed and loving characters whose stories both alarm your senses and break your heart. Set in the West, Watkins' familiar places welcomed me if not the very human and at times uncomfortable experiences she captures. Great writing, great reading. Just don't expect to get a shiny, happy feeling.

Wonderful magnificent stories beautifully told
What a great group of narrators carefully chosen to read Claire Vaye Watkins' stories! I thoroughly enjoyed each narration and what's more is that they've added animated life throughout the collection!
