The story engages you immediately with humor and intrigue. The writing is smooth and witty, the characters recognizable and narration ideal!

There were so many characters in this book it was difficult to know what was going on. The plot wasn’t revealed until the last five minutes. But I love this series so I stuck with it!

I LOVE Andy Carpenter and Grover Gardner truly is Andy. I have never read an Andy Carpenter book. You've got to listen to Grover read it to you!

The narration by Grover Gardner is outstanding. It has contributed to the development of the very likeable characters in this series. Because they are so real they continue to grow and expand. Bark of Night is even better than the earlier books if that is possible.
