In the new world, power reigns supreme. Those that evolve their class, their race, or even their attributes rule those below them. Being given a class is not a guarantee. For some, it takes years, and for others they never reach the Pylons. For Gabe, it was a path of lost patience. He has a dream. He needs to grow stronger. He'll fight, kill, and even sell himself out if it means reaching his goal.

The day comes that he finally receives his class. Only the Multiverse has decided to give him the finger alongside nearly fifty thousand others. The only bright side is that he was given the class he wanted. Bard, and with it the Ballad of Beginnings, his only way to survive the remnants of the old world. With his party of the other four races, he will fight, sing, and kill anything that tries to stop him from growing stronger. He's going to win the trial and prove that he has what it takes to reach his dream.

This is a non-harem series. Some explicit language is present and plenty of fighting, growth, and evolution of oneself. This series will also be a companion series to Return of the Healer.

Love the story! AI not so much

The story is great, and super entertaining! I highly recommend it! I can’t wait to listen to more from this author. It’s unfortunate about the AI narration. Many missed pronounced word, and next to no inflection.

please do not ever use an AI to narrate a book again that was horrible

Not a fan of the AI audio narration.

The story its self was fun but the narration was so flat and without any sort of variation that it was hard to follow especially when switching points of view.

could be great with a decent narrator

my only complaint is on narration. the ai is flat with no inflection. it prounces things awkwardly. a real person could've fixed many of the mistakes. there also no indication when point of view or anything else changed
