Riveting and entertaining

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire story. It was haunting and intelligent and well-performed. I’ve read Kelley Armstrong’s Rockton series and will now seek out more of her work.

Even through brokenness you can find joy.

Thrilling story, suspenseful! I could not stop reading it!!! Great detail to the folk lore. I want to read it again!!!!!

I read this book in two days. The story is compelling and fascinating to the end!

Great story!

The story was amazing. I was not expecting the ending; even things I *did* expect I didn’t fully expect! I’m not sure what others are referring to in terms of an ambiguous ending; it felt fully resolved to me. My only complaint is that the narrator uses very similar voices for the two main male characters, which was a bit confusing in places. Still, excellent overall!

I love Kelley’s writing!! It is totally twisted! Perfect blend of gore and Fantasy!! This storyline is fresh and new contains all the best details!

Eerie, Engaging, and Full of Surprises

Loved the eerie atmosphere and the mix of mystery and supernatural elements. It kept me hooked from start to finish, and that twist at the end totally surprised me!

Good story. Good audio. I enjoyed the book! Labeled as horror but it’s ok for thriller readers too.

Freaking Loved This Crazy, Creepy Story!!

This story was creepy!! I loved it!! It was the perfect spooky read for October. The trauma the main character lives with from her childhood becomes small compared to the trauma she goes through in this story!!

If you like thrillers, horror and a bit of the paranormal, you will love this!!!

Hooked from the beginning!

This was a great story that caught my attention at the beginning and kept it going. The twists were fantastic and entertaining. I loved it.

The sweet revenge

I actually enjoyed this:) the end was Awesome. From start to finish it was a great smooth twist and turn. A bit of tmi but what ever. I enjoyed it. And the narrator was good! Nothing like a good narrator:) Enjoy
