Good

I felt the story was good. It has a lot of potential, but I just felt it dragged on and on. I'm not sure if the book could have been broken up into 2 parts. However, it wasn't, so if you listen/read the story, it really is long. Again, I thought it was good. It just dragged on a little bit. The narrator was OK but didn't make many changes with male voices, probably needed a male narrator too. I am unsure if I will continue the series.

Do you love wolf shifters? If you do, i highly suggest this book. Her mythology is slightly different and interesting. The characters are well written. Nico is swoon worthy with his attentiveness. Maddy is strongwilled and relatable. There are a lot of ups and downs Twist turns secrets and games played that will have you guessing until the very end. Definitely worth the read

Excellent Story

Great descriptive romance and suspense with intriguing drama. I love anything that has to do with wolves and vampires.

Interesting story and kept me wanting to keep listening. Characters were very different and diverse and the flow of the plot was excellent.

Loved the story but don’t like that it’s leaving room for continuation. What’s the next book?

The author wanted to tell an epic story but too many details distracted

I wanted to like the story more than I did. There were just things that pulled me too much out of the story. I think the biggest detail that finally lost me was the birth mom becoming a pediatrician in less than 3 years. Med school takes 4 years and residency at least 3 more. Also the author could have sacrificed the uncle without an "I hated my brother" plotting. It isn't a terrible book but it won't go into my list that I will listen to many times.
