This is driving me nuts!!

I really enjoy Frieda. I’ve ready probably a dozen of her books. But this is infuriating me. What an unbelievably stupid situation to get into. It’s not good when you feel your protagonist deserves what’s happening to her. OMG. I think I have to stop listening. Ughhh

not as good as the others

but I still love her books and it's an entertaining listen with more minor twist then some of her other books.

Entertaining

This book reminds me of a Lifetime movie. If you happened to have an extra credit or 2 I'd say give it a listen. Fairly predictable but entertaining none the less

Future NY Times Seller best list

I’ve listened to several of Frieda MCFadden’s books on Audible and they are all incredible! The Surrogate had me hooked from the start. Twists and turns and surprises galore!

Amazing read!

This book has a great plot & plot twist. Definitely a fun read! The ending did leave me wondering a little.

Didn’t predict the ending

Enjoyed the book but as another person stated, I wanted to smack the main character in the head a few times. I’m always amused at the stupid things they do in the audiobooks I listen to, but it probably would be boring otherwise. So many of these books leave room for a book 2. This one definitely could.

She’s does it again - but it’s not her typical writing style

I absolutely loves this books, because while it was filled with a lot of serious issues, Freida incorporated a LOT of little jokes that made me grin. I thought the main character was amazing- only complaint (if you can even call it that) is I feel like I’d have a hard time cracking jokes in my head when everything I’ve ever accomplished in life were suddenly on the line. Overall I loved it, simple - not over done. It ended perfectly and I was not bored once! I couldn’t put it down which says a lot because I have a boat load of children!

Very Engaging Read

Loved the book. The narrator was very soft spoken which made it difficult to listen to while on a somewhat windy road trip.

The book had some unexpected twist and very fast paced. couldn't wait to get in my car and commute listening. The atory me so hooked it almost made me late to work because I wanted to hear more. I will be looking for other books bt the author. They've gained a new fan. I believe this would make a good movie.
