Honoré de Balzac (1799 - 1850) was a French author, who produced a large number of novels and short stories, collectively named Comédie humaine (The Human Comedy). With his collection of nearly one hundred short stories, Balzac was a great contributor to the world of literature. Balzac was also famous for his short naps between dinner and midnight. In this way he was able to withstand the exhaustive writing schedule he was following.
