Connecting to the Goddess Within

Would you consider the audio edition of Awakening the Goddess Within to be better than the print version?

At first this audio was a little rough, this is a live lecture, it is understandable though especially with headphones. I have not read Stassinopoulos's book of the same topic, I actually think this presentation fit the bill perfectly.

What other book might you compare Awakening the Goddess Within to and why?

Like 2 other lectures I have listened to from Depak, his guest speakers are engaging and on point.

Any additional comments?

Enjoyed very much. If you are at all interested in hearing about Mythology, this lecture puts the Goddesses in the real world and explains how there is a little of each one of them in all of us.

I'm glad I read the reviews that warned me that this is not the work of Deepak Chopra, as it was listed in Audible to be. Chopra introduces Agapi Stassinopoulos as a speaker who gives her dramatic interpretations of specific Greek goddesses and empowered women. She explores feminism in Greek mythology with humor, insight, and optimism. It was something "different" to listen to. It's a short listen, about 1.5 hrs I think.

What about Deepak Chopra and Agapi Stassinopoulos ’s performance did you like?

The humour - I laugh out loud ever time. I have listened to this recording at least 10 times over the last week, morning and night. Her explanations, storytelling and sense of humour are addictive and thoroughly delightful. I feel empowered after listening to her, and I don't even know why. Her passion, ownership and thorough immersion throughout the recording has become my pre-work 'juice' and my end of day laugh.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

...a homage to my hips...

Who was your favorite character and why?

Artemis. She is my hero.

Which character – as performed by Deepak Chopra and Agapi Stassinopoulos – was your favorite?

I loved them all but as I said before Artemis kicks ass.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Agapi is an amazing presenter. She made be smile and laugh and yes tears stood in my eyes a couple of times.

Read it and read it again. Loved it.

I Enjoyed It

This was wonderful to listen to while doing my housework. Deepack Chopra is a wonderful speaker. She's so much fun! She had a TRUE passion for the Goddesses. I absolutely loved this.

Brilliant! Simply brilliant!

I absolutely loved listening to this, it's an actual performance going on here, and totally in love with Agapi's spirit, wisdom, insights and vibrant energy. She paints such a clear picture of the Greek Goddesses and how we might find them in each one of us, in an entertaining and enriching way. Totally recommend getting this, it's sheer delight!

Not a book

While an interesting speech this is not a book I was hoping to listen too but, I don't feel as though I wasted my time either. I did get insight to my inner goddess and would love to read/listen to something by this woman.

It feels like Deepak connect his name to this book only to help Agapi selling more books

It is a lot of non sense and should be under the title Fiction not spiritual.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Awakening the Goddess Within?

As i said this is Fiction and has nothing to do with Spiritual.

I am very disappointed in Deepak and in the future i will be very careful to buy a book where his name is used to make money instead of being the master he is supposed to be.
Helping your friends in another way give them the money if you feel like that, but do not pull your name through the mud like this. Please Deepak.
