So emotional

I loved this book. it was so intense. I remember so much of the 80's and things that weren't accepted then. I loved the ending.

A love story above all

I thought about Sally Ride while listening to this and what she must have gone through. Really interesting story

An emotional roller coaster

This book… it killed me, blew my mind, broke my heart, repaired it, made me laugh, cry, get angry all at once. I would give it so many more stars of were able to do so here.
The story covers difficult topics and deals with homophobia and archaic beliefs and rules of the past. It is edge of your seat, intriguing and enveloping. The main characters are so easy to love and a side character just as easy to be appealed and disgusted by.
This book is one I will listen to again. The narration is excellent. Julia Wheelan is one of my favorite narrators and does a stellar job.

She's done it again

Taylor Reid Jenkins never disappoints. She is a master at creating characters that the reader can connect with and grow to love by the end of the novel. 5 stars

WOW

Her best. Struggling for more than the 15 word minimum because "Wow" and "her best" are the only words coming to mind.

Suspenseful and Beautiful

What a great story. Julia Whelan take this book from great to amazing. It is truly an amazing adventure.

One of the best.

No audible has ever brought me to the emotional level this one has. The narration is superb the story and characters are incredibly developed. I could not stop listening for 3 days. You do not want to miss out on this experience. I loved it!

Added to my favorites of all time 😭

Read for the second time in a row via audio after a physical read and it’s such a beautiful, moving, impactful story that hit me right in the heart & is my fave book of the year & just added to my favorites in general. The narration was great, any way you take in this story is a good way! Highly recommend!

They look long distance relationship a bit too far

It has been 10 minutes since I have finished it. I am still crying. Absolutely a masterpiece.
