Decent story line, I would not pay for this. It's more like a trailer for the actual book you would want to hear. Still good for a short listen. The reader is a little hard to hear over road noise in the car but still works with the volume turned up.

Loved the storyline. The concept is great, I could have read a whole book about him. Only complaint being it was way too short. Nice little escapist story complete with a fresh perspective and a mano a machine throw down that should have been on Pay Per View.
Pro ally written to be put in the series about book four. Acceptable time filler if, like all theses B V Larson Star Force books you pay a lot for the few short hours each book is chopped into.

Days of old SiFi
Years ago I subscribed to SiFi magazines' that had short stories. I remember some that were only a page long and occasionally some were a few pages. The attraction was that most had great plots. Today it seems that the authors shoot for many pages and it is rare that few can hold my attention. Army of one was just long enough to keep you interested and had a great plot. Way to go Larson.
