shocking story that was very well told. Amazing that people have to go through things like this...

My Country is Now a Kafkaesque Nightmare

A man detained for no good reason. His life completely disrupted, because my government is paranoid.

This was uncomfortable to hear. It was supposed to be uncomfortable to hear.

Immigrant story

It really just describes the reality of immigrants traveling-not really a fictional story that I was looking for

Fantastic
This is masterful written, produced and performed. Very gripping, I saw every step of this unfortunate journey. It’s sad that it is so true for many today.

Powerful look into today’s immigrant experience

I love that the author chose to write this story in second person because it places the reader/listener into the shoes of the protagonist. Given this topic, I think that choice is powerful for creating empathy. I also enjoyed the narration.

So involving that I felt like it was my ex spouse talking

Traumatic story written and narrated well. I felt traumatized being transported to my first marriage. Very challenging times. Voices done well. Interesting plot twists. I would not listen again, but only due to reliving an abusive marriage with a man with similar attitude, voice, and culture to the main character. Great content for others to experience. I just can’t. Personal repelling experience.

A few Horrifying Aspects

Hearing this made me very paranoid and I couldn't help but do some research to brush up on my rights while listening. But I didn't care about the main character.

Impresive

I felt like I was actually part of the story. I really felt for this guy.

What happened?

The author jumps right into a situation with the protagonist being tied up in a series of events that make the reader question. What is going on. As the story progresses, more light is shed on the protagonists situation. When the short story ends, the reader is left with many questions. Why did this happen?

Well worth your time!!!
