Loved it more than I thought I would

this book was very well written. Anne reminded me of a loved one. the author captured her spirit well.

Delightful change of pace

The narrator of this beautiful story is perfect. This is the type of story that will charm and delight you. You will come away with your senses aware of the passing seasons, the desire to set high ambitions and a new way of seeing the romance of the everyday. It's a lovely listen.

Just Like the Characters we Know and Love

This performance of Anne of Green Gables was equal to the story! I didn't go back and look to see when it was produced, (i.e. before or after the Megan Follows movies) but the reader seemed to reflect the voices and personalities of the actors in the movies. To me, that was a good thing, because I love the movie versions of Anne and did not have to adjust my thinking to get used to a new set of voices. Matthew and Marilla were especially well-read, but all of them were, really.

The story of Anne itself is a touching tale that makes me cry at least once every time I read / listen / watch it. Even the men of my household love this book!

Best Narration!

There are lots of audio versions of this book, but this one has the best narration of the them all! The characters really come to life with the way Shelly Frasier has performed them. Don’t pass this one up.

I love Anne of Green Gable

I love this story!!!!!!!!!!!!And Anne is awesome.When Anne was little, she was funny and peculiar .i wish I were as smart as her! Mrs Lucy you're a good writer!!😃🌷

Smile from Ear to Ear

I remember reading this book when I was a child and smiling from ear to ear as I read. Anne does not disappoint I laughed and smiled with Anne through her ups and downs as I recently listened as an adult. This book is a must listen.

Wonderful wonderful book! I really enjoyed the story. Who wouldn't love this book. A must read! Moving on to the next one in the series, it's so good!

Couldn't put it down

I originally started reading this book as an assignment, but once I started I couldn't put it down. This is an interesting well written book. I look forward to reading the other Anne of ... books as a liesure read and not an assignment.

I love timeless classic's. They never get old no matter how many times you listen to them. Great narrator too.

simply delightful

I completely fell in love with Anne from.Green Gables. Listening to this classic as an adult is an entirely different experience than reading as a girl of about ten. My appreciation for the beautifully written story grew with each chapter, I hardly wanted it all to end. The detailed descriptions of Anne's witness to the world gave me new daily appreciation for the splendor we so often take for granted. Absolutely one of the most charming novels ever written and narration brings it all to life.
