Animal Tales for Grownups

This is an interesting collection of a few short stories told from the animals side. Four stories that revolve around mice, cats, dogs, and horses. In each story listeners get to hear the stories from the animals points of view and how they react to the humans. These are stories that are amusing and will make you think about how we treat these animals. Narrator Jim Selleck does a nice job of keeping the narrative flowing and giving life to these characters and their worlds.

These are as much tails as tales

I guess I was expecting something with more satire... deeper or darker.

In fact, these are rather amusing stories told from the perspective of the animals. Definitely PG-13.

The narrator was great. But they way it was broken up, I wasn’t sure where one story ended and the next began... different narrator s for different perspectives would have helped. Or maybe it was one big story and I missed the point?

This was cute! it was a fun listen,. that made me laugh. I enjoyed it and really hope that this Author writes more like this!

Fun Little Tale's

Animal Tails For Grownups was an amusing short audiobook with four stories featuring mice, cats, dogs and horses as they give their feelings about humans and how they are treated. I think young adults would also like this. Jim Selleck did a good job of narrating. I received this audiobook from the publisher and I am voluntarily writing this review.

Cute and funny

Not at all what I had expected. But loved the characters of the book. Only 4 short stories, but worth the read.

This one was different from what I am used too. The narrator Jim Selleck did a great job.

So cute!

This book is short, but packed with four stories. I enjoyed all of them fromthe rat lawyer the The cats and horse sense. All discuss the downfalls of being owned by humans it is pretty funny and not been in one direction or the other so is enjoyable no matter what your opinion of animal treatment. I thought it was a Larry us and I thought Don did a good job posting both opinions not at this book is about animal rights it’s not I just caught that narrative as I listened. I really enjoyed this book. I also thought the narration was excellent it truly was awesome one of the premium narrative jobs I loved it!

Furry Little Tales

The stories within this book are not told by the perspective of humans but by the animals themselves. The book is definitely not meant for children, or there will be some explaining to do. I enjoyed the stories and the narrator. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.
