Legion Dark Operator Kel Turner believed that.

To know the order of battle and how an enemy unit was organized was to know its purpose and how to destroy it. That logic existed down to the smallest scale, down to what made up life itself. From fighting a gray war against a cunning adversary bent on genocide, to slogging through a jungle hell full of rabid dog-men, Kel won't stop until the mission is complete. Kel was the mission. But if the day comes when there would no longer be a Dark Ops for Kel, what would his mission be then?

I have truly enjoyed these 5 books and felt many emotions through the experience. There memories brought forth and regrets to let go. It never ceases to amaze me how incredible it is to have your mind pulled into a world lived by others. Told through the eyes of a fictional character.

In many ways this was your best book. I hope this isn’t the end of the series? I always find the poetry in action books like yours to be really weak to poor. The poem you ended this one with was masterful. Very well done.

I look forward to reading more of your work. These five have been reflective. The search for the soul of the warrior. I think they add much to the Galaxy’s Edge universe. I’ve loved them.

Yet another great story in this GE arc.

All of the story arcs in Galaxy's Edge are great but I've always liked this one as much as I liked the Order of books...so I was super stoked when I knew there would be some sort of tie in to the 1st Order of book...[spoiler]Subs around the campfire was a nice touch.

Glad I saw on social media that this series isn't over...that wouldn't do.

Oh my!

hands down the best in the series. Love how the main characters have grown since book one. Turner has turned into one of my favorite characters. look forward to reading more of his adventures in the near future.

Good but not the best

It was a good story but not the best in the series. I did like the parts that sounded a lot like MACV SOG in Vietnam. The narrator did a good job.

Doc Spears is among the best

If you've ever been in, you can usually tell when an author knows what their talking about in regards to the military. Doc Spears writing really resonates and he knows how to hit home on a lot of subjects. I've loved growing with Team 3 and 12. Kel is the kind of leader we all wish we had. AATW!! Ex Umbris!!

Doc Does it Again

Spears, Anspach, and Cole, through the amazingly talented Stephen Dexter, bring to life another chapter of the legend that is Kel Turner. Join Kel and his team as they join the fray in one of the Edge's most notorious wars, and some things are set in motion that cannot be undone. Terrific action seen through the eyes of an introspective and talented leader of the Galaxy's finest, what's not to love?

Probably my Favorite

Kel Turner does not disappoint. Another great Dark Operator story, from a series of great stories. Highly recommended!

Speechless

absolutely amazing storytelling and feeling, the series as a whole has me itching for the next chapter in its run. Dark Operator has become one of my favorite GE series.

Is this the end?

I hope this is not the end of this Galaxy’s Edge series. Doc Spears’ storytelling improved with each book and weaved an essential component of the Galaxy’s Edge universe.
