I was really excited to listen to "and:A Love Story Within" after having read the hard copy edition. Hearing Michelle's voice read her extremely personal poems brought the words and feelings they invoke to a totally different level. Her emotions come through and embrace you! These poems are her truths, yet also show us how we are all connected. The music included in this format greatly enhances the work as well. Highly recommend!!

Stunning!

I decided today was the perfect day to listen to And: A Love Story Within. I have never listened to an audiobook and was excited to experience it. It was one of those Sunday kind of days where I was quiet and introspective and this was exactly what I needed. This beautiful book of poetry and the sound of the author's voice opened my eyes to a new way to "read" a book. By hearing the affect in the author's voice, you can actually feel the experience, and you can understand what the author may have been feeling as she wrote her poems. The book also includes music written by her brother, which is perfectly interwoven through her words.

Exquisite, unique, & powerfully moving!

Listening to this powerful collection of poetry, accompanied by original music by her brother, moved me beyond words. The author's insights, transparency, & invitation to reflect on our own lives, tied to songs that tell a story of their own, engaged me more than any audio book ever has, quite frankly. This was not just a "listen" ~ it was an "experience." WOW!

I love how she writes, how she speaks and the music written and sung by her brother is a delightful surprise and addition to the book. I couldn't stop listening and will return over and over as this book gives me permission to listen to the whisperings of my own inner voice.

A Joy to Hear

It was one thing to read this book, and to now hear the personal emotion attached to each poem.... it has made "and: A love story within" one of the treasures in my collection. Every single verse gives me a "wow" moment... a connection. Wonderful to have this, to go back to, for clarity and affirmation in knowing that so many of us are on a journey to find our own personal truth. I LOVE the music also included in this audiobook. Truly makes this a favorite. <3 Highly recommended!
