A Family Affair

I did enjoy listening to this book do to the characters and narration. It is about primarily 2 people Linda Lewis and Will Hamilton and their relationship. I loved the entire Lewis family and the surprise of one of Linda’s stalker and ending. I was given this free review copy audiobook by narrator at my request and have voluntarily left this review. An Ulterior Motive

A spin off of The Wisdom of the Ancestors series, this is the first book in The Alex-Mont Kids Saga. This is a stand alone story, but I loved hearing the updates of characters I’ve grown to know and love.

This is Linda and Will’s story. Two successful, strong individuals that are brought together. I loved the twist of the stalker!

Ann Jeffries has created an epic extended family, and I love how each new story expands the circle of characters. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.

I can’t imagine anyone but Kelley Hazen narrating these books. She has given each character their own voice and their personality comes through loud and clear. A fantastic listen!

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it fun. I've listened to the books from the Wisdom of the Ancestors series out of order, so it's interesting to go into the future and hear this series from the beginning. All these books are based on family and friends and its can be uplifting listening at times and at others you just find yourself laughing out loud and you have to back it up because you've missed something. After childhood of surgeries, Linda is now a Prima Ballerina considering what to do next in her life. She decides on opening a dance school with the money she's earned. Dancing has not only brought her wealth, its brought her fame and a stalker. It's very enjoyable with a surprise ending. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Fantastic

I loved the story. The writer is one of my favourites and the narrator has such an amazing voice, I listened to the story twice.

A fun listen

This is my first book by Ann Jeffries. It caught my interest from the start. I really liked the family dynamics. I was surprised by the ending. I only gave the story 4 stars because it is unrealistic for a family to be that perfect in the real world. The narration was spot on. I look forward to more books by Ann Jefferies. I was given a copy of this audio book to review. This is my honest review

An Ulterior Motive

Ann Jeffries has written another fantastic book in An Ulterior Motive. I loved the relationship of Linda and Will. The cameo appearances of other characters from the Wisdom of Ancestors was an added bonus. The book has great imagery, suspense, chemistry and an added stalker. I hadn't expected the ending, but found it so fitting. Kelley Hazen is magical bringing the characters to life. She gives them distinguishable voices, and is able to perform a wide range of ages, ethnic backgrounds, and genders. This book is a standalone listen. I loved it!

An Ulterior Motive: The Alex-Mont Kids Saga #1 was a good read by Ann Jeffries. Will Hamilton is a sports icon that is known to the world as The Hammer. Linda Lewis is a prima ballerina who goes incredibly fast on her pointed toes. Will isn't usually a classical ballet guy but when he sees Linda, he's mesmerized. Linda is known to the theatre world as "The Black Swan". She fears that her body will fail her and her career would end. She wants to figure out what she will do with her life then. Her security team must also keep her safe from a stalker. I enjoyed reading Will and Linda's story and can't wait to read more by the author.
