Excellent Cozy

An Itch for Justice is Book 1 in the Izzie Di Sante Mysteries by Christa Nardi. Izzie is an interesting character. She runs a family restaurant with her chef sister, but, her heart is set on investigating journalism. I found the murder interesting and I thought that it was so clever to put the victim's wife in a psychological hospital. Izzie met her uber driver, Henry, who used to be a police officer. I felt that it was a clever way for Izzie to get help. Janelle V Bennett was a good narrator and I thought she brought the book to life. I can't wait for book 2.

An Itch for Justice is #1 in the Izzie Di Sante mystery series by Christa Nardi. Izzie is trying to juggle investigative reporting with managing her family’s restaurant. This story centers on a murdered man and his wife, who is being held in a psychiatric institution. The situation doesn’t add up and Izzie is trying to get to the bottom of things. The narration by Janelle V Bennett is absolutely great. She brings the characters and story to life. I received a free copy of the audiobook for my honest review.

Great!

An Itch for Justice is a clean mystery that I would recommend for teens and up. This is a new series and it’s off to a fantastic start in my opinion . The author kept me guessing until the end and I enjoyed the romantic undertones. The narrator gave a nice performance, as well. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series!

Great characters,telling an interesting story!

Well developed plot, good story line , interesting characters who are easy to like. Money can't buy happiness on display. I'm positive you'll enjoy this book. I know I want more of this series. well done.

It was a bit chilling to see the lengths "money and entitlement" will go to meet their selfish needs. Callous and without humanity or remorse. No one wins with these outcomes. Sad. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Cozy Culinary Mystery

I enjoyed the first book in the "Izzie Di Sante Mysteries". The mystery was puzzling and intricate. I liked the main character Izzie Di Sante. I liked that she was portrayed as being a rational, intelligent woman, who was courageous enough to choose to follow her dream, while still helping her sister with the family business. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Janelle V. Bennett's narration was entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Another great cozy mystery series

I listened to 3 of the Izzie Di Dante Mayteries and loved all of them. All 3 do stand on their own but I recommend reading them in order. Crista Nardi writes a great cozy mystery leaving you wondering who could have done it. I really enjoy her writing.

The narration by Janelle V Bennett is excellent. She does a great job with the different characters.

I will listen to these two again.

Another Great book

Thank you so much for hitting another one out of the park! Christa Nardi is quickly becoming my favorite non crafty author. My oldest granddaughter enjoys your books as well.

Loved it

A great start to a fascinating mystery and a well narrated story. I found this one with lots of suspects to keep you guessing.
