Are "mutts" as good as purebreds?
Daphne Coleman, with her little Lab cross Naiad, is determined to prove her dog's worth in the Enterprise dog show and agility contest, which now allows mixed breeds to participate, thanks to the advocacy of dog show judge Sinopa Folds.
Then murder strikes.
The top contender, a beautiful Irish setter, is found dead of poison.
