GREAT STORY!!!

The story is well written and R C Bray is awesome. Anyone who enjoys good science fiction will enjoy Ambush.

Great book

I listened to the .5 book, and it was a great premise for a series. This book 1 was not a disappointment. Great book all the way through.

Cheese de lux

Book 0.5 was great, setting a good and very interesting foundation for the series.
This book however is so cheesy that it spoiled the story.
For example Sandy's ordeal with the smelly creeps had no place in this story, it just added more cheese.
RC Bray was great as usual, but one could hear that even he suffered through the cheesy sections.

hard to follow and it just drones on and on.

It is really uninteresting. I did finish it, but it was boring. Book 2 is worse.

Outstanding

Loved it, reminds me of StarGate SG-1... Government has made contact with the rest of the galaxy but has kept it from public knowledge until the bad guys come to wipe us out.

Excellent, with a slight error.

Sector 64 is a nice twist on your usual alien contact story. It was an enjoyable listen and the technological advancement are quite fascinating, albeit a little over the top (even for a sci-fi). That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the imagined tech.
The slight complaint I have is regarding the over-dramatization towards the end. That change in writing doesn’t conform to the overall tone of the book. Hence, the 4 star.
Other than that, I loved every second of it. And as always - RC Bray is joy to listen to.

great twist to an old story

thoroughly enjoyed the story. characters were made to seem real and we're able to do things that normal humans would do in spite of it being a Sci-Fi story. are they recommended.

I loved expeditionary force. now this series has me hooked. Mr. Cole does a great job adding the possible to the imaginary.

Good book.

Good book. Keeps you engaged and entertained through most of it. Some of the fluff/filler stuff gets annoying at times. Worth the listen as RC Bray always brings the stories to life.

As per usual for a great story read by R. C. Bray.

Just great. A new, yet refreshing and simplistic plot. Based on the "Aliens Attack" theme, but not as simple as one might think. There are pre-stories that lend sci-fi credibility. There are post-apocalyptic undertones which do not become overbearing. Good writing. Amazing narration. Fun, interesting more than with a read (listen).
