great storyline

I loved the story line, but the virtual voice was not good, a real live persons voice would have given a more natural reflection in the characters words. was like listening to a monotone leture.

The phrase and then or just then was used so many times so so many times... A got to a point that I couldn't finished the book because I was so tired of hearing it... (then or and then) there are other ways to phrase things... I listen to books almost obsessively, this book was my 83rd book of listening to this year.. It is the first week of May... Well would have been if I would have finished it so now I'm not counting it at all.. mind this is a series. it's three books so it was 19 hours and 9 minutes long. I stopped about halfway through the third book... so in reality I could add two books to my collection of what I've listen to, but I'm not ..

so was the second book supposed to be part of the first book?? wtf... I'm really confused and it ruined the flow of the story.

The voice ruined it

This is the second book I have listened to with the electronic voice and I have decided I can't do it. I thought maybe I just needed to get over it because it's a free book to listen to but it's not worth it to me. I'll either buy a copy or wait to see if they choose to have someone real read it.

AI voice

The AI voice absolutely ruined the book. No change in pitch or tempo or sound. It takes a good book and turns it into a dull boring lump. And the mispronunciations of one of the words used about 100 times grates at your nerves.
