Good story ... a few slow spots ...

Although the tale was good, it was a bit too verbose for my taste. There were many scenes that were superfluous and did nothing to move the story along. The final quarter of the book moved along at a great pace and ended on a pleasing note. I would still recommend the read, just be prepared for a couple of slow spots.
