Petre describes how digital metrics are a powerful but insidious new form of managerial surveillance and discipline. I really enjoyed this book. Ms. Petre thoroughly grapples with a topic that many may not realize is a critical - if not THE critical - issue we as a society are facing today. I highly recommend giving this one a “click.”
