Ok story and Pronunciation was unbearable at time

The story was ok; the writing was ok, and the pronunciation of places was ok, but really unbearable at times, especially at the end with Tahquamenon falls - it really was at the end of the book, but it left me feeling like the story was not told by anyone from Michigan so made it less believable.

Characters

Narrators MUST learn to pronounce words correctly. Not doing so is the quickest way to jerk readers out of the story and lose credibility.

Great story

Great story about love, faith, and forgiveness without prejudice or preaching. Good narration and interesting info about the upper peninsula

overall ok, city name mispronounced

overall a good story. the ending didn't feel complete, and the narrator didn't pronounce Petoskey correctly.

It was a little slow in the beginning, but then.....

The ending made me want more. I would enjoy to read a follow up book.
