Resumen del Editor

After 40 years with his beloved wife, Henry is alone for the first time. His sudden bachelorhood is a struggle for him and his daughter Lisa, who is feeling pressure to fill the void. To give Henry the companionship he’s craving, Lisa buys him a personal robotic assistant. The device transforms Henry’s life and inspires him to embrace the possibility of romance during his golden years. This hilarious and touching play explores love, loss, and the real connection humans can have with technology - once you figure out how the heck to use it.

Great short listen!

This was a great short story to listen to. Not very time consuming and light hearted. I got a few laughs while looking at life in a not so serious way. Recommended!

Excellent voice acting

Engaging and timely story. Would have been enhanced by less course language. Dropping the F- on everything from spilled tea to a poor memory only shows a lack of vocabulary. It was also odd that this Jewish family frequently used ‘Christ’ as a swear word.
Each performer played their role with natural ease. The poise in Beth’s voice tells the listener so much about her. Deep fluctuating emotion can be felt through Maria’s character. Judd Hirsch’s accent and deep gravelly voice was perfectly caste for the part.
Overall the short story was a joy to listen to. Hat’s off to the writer. I laughed out loud several times and that’s been rare these days.

Such a sweet story.

My husband and I have been married for more than fifty years. This was such a sweet story and I’m glad I heard it. However, now I’m worried about my husband being lonely if I should leave first. 🥺
