navy seal Alex kowicki is a playboy until he meets his match with volleyball star Sydney Robinson on a blind date . this book was so good and loved the narrator's voice. I absolutely love Sharon Hamilton and her books and audiobooks.

Couldn't put it down!

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. I loved it. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting. The chemistry between the characters was hot, hot, hot!

HOT HOT Seal Alex

Who does not want to think of dating a hot sexy Seal? I for one do!
This book is chalked full of hot sexy encounters. I would love to date Alex for just a week ro two :)
this book is full of sex, sex, and more hot sex. plus some Seal action too. I would NOT recommend listening to this without your head phones on! lol

Very good listen

Sharon Hamilton is an author whom I've read and listened to several of her books. JD Hart has done another fantastic job with the narration. This is a standalone book and part of a series. I like that the characters from other stories are mentioned in this book, but not center stage. Initially I did not like the character Alex with his love 'em and leave 'em attitude before he met Sydney. This book is full of action and sex, so don't listen to it on speakers with small children around. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

J.D. Hart! His voice is amazing! So smooth & sultry...I could listen to him all day! :)

Alex - I'm not sure if its because of his actual character or because of J.D. Hart's voice!

Omg what a great listen.
The love story between Navy Seal Alex and Sydney a beach volleyball player, is HOT HOT HOT
The back story with the winery is a great one that will keep these books going strong.
Sharon Hamilton is a fantastic writer with J.D.HART as the narrator made listening to this book enjoyable.
I really think it's a great idea for you to buy this book or better yet the complete series.

I have to commend J D Hart for the narration. He makes the story easy to listen to , and does an excellent job of modulating his voice. You always know who is "speaking"

When I started listening to this audiobook, I thought “oh no, this will be a story of just sex and no plot”. Boy, was I wrong!!! I should have known better since this author always gives us great stories.
I really liked Alex, a Navy Seal who can be called a junkie of all things dangerous. He is set up on a blind date with Sydney, an Amazon of a woman who is a well known beach volleyball player. Needless to say, The attraction is instantaneous. These are two very strong characters, who know what they want and they do want each other.
The storyline takes us to the wine country, to a change of residence for Sydney in order to work on her game, and earn a living, as well as overseas when Alex and his team go to retrieve hostages.
Sydney also has a life changing decision to make and unexpectedly ends up in a life threatening situation.
We get a chance to visit some of the Team members we have come to love and as usual, Ms Hamilton presents us a plot that gives us a glimpse of the life on a Navy Seal, while at “work” as well as the effects their profession has on their family.
Another winner for Ms Hamilton.

I have listened to several of Sharon Hamilton's other stories and have enjoyed them all. This story is no different. The story draws you in immediately, keeps your full attention and has you wanting to listen from start to finish in one sitting. The combination of this author and narrator always makes for an enjoyable listen.

Even though characters from her other series appear in this story and it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone book. Love the crossover of characters from previous books.

Definitely keep your earbuds in for this one. There are some pretty hot & steamy activities happening. There is much more going on in this book than just a romance story. Action, intrigue, romance, mystery, suspense and plenty of steamy scenes all woven into an entertaining, engaging and enjoyable story.

Military Alpha bad boy. Alex was up front about who he was and what kind of lifestyle he leads from the start. He has taken on the role of the typical alpha bad boy love'em and leave'em persona. For a time he tried to settle down, that didn't work out. So he is living his persona to the fullest. He's about to go on a blind date with a woman like no other he has ever met. One that will change his life.

Sydney wasn't a likable character to me in the beginning. Her actions come across as crazy and stalkerish. Her "turn on" and actions in the theater didn't make her anymore likable. At one point she's looking around to see if her neighbors are watching and thinking that they have been witness to her "Parade her trophies up and down the front walkway", then she says she doesn't sleep around. A bit of a flip-flop there. Then she "follows" him up north. I was starting to wonder if this was going to turn into a fatal attraction type of story at one point. She does eventually grow on you a little at a time, but for me it took until about the halfway mark of the book for her to really become likable.

Trying not to spoil the story for anyone. But, it was a catch 22 situation she found herself in eventually. On the one hand I like that she didn't try and use this to stay connected to him, but on the other hand I don't believe that type of information should kept a secret. He deserved the truth. Like I said a catch 22 situation.

J.D. Hart did a great job with the narration as usual. Nice voice. Easy to listen to for long periods of time. Clearly spoken with a smooth even pace. Good character voices. Even his female character voices are good. He was able to make the characters and the story come to life. Very enjoyable.

No, there are too many other books to listen to. This was a good story and worth the listen.

I liked Fredo and Cooper. they were great secondary characters.

I liked them all. He does a great job with his vocalization.
