Good one.
Brand was an American fiction author known primarily for his thoughtful and literary Westerns.
I thought this was one of his best. Narrator does not have a Western accent but does a good job

Max Brand is the best.
Very good story if you are into Westerns...and horses. We ( my husband and I ) thought the reader was fine.

Worst book!
Story sucks and so does the "JIM Dandy" reading it--- not worth 5 cents! Don't waste your time or money on this one!
