Nice read

It glowed well from the first book into the second. Read the first then this one. Now I'm on to the next one.

Intense, Dark, Funny & Playful

I am really enjoying this series, and I have read many. This is an adult Sci-Fi thriller with great crass humor. This author is skilled at building up tension to just the right moment. The audio version has several mispronunciations which is distracting. Once or twice the transitions between chapters was not as smooth as I prefer both in writing and audio presentation. I will keep reading this series regardless.

Great Book

Just as good as the 1st book can’t wait to read the 3rd one!! Love the main characters. Can’t make up my mind which guy I want her to end up with. I guess in the next book I will find out!

Suspenseful, humor. Good listen also from narrator

The authors keep up the suspense most of the story. The humor is a little dark. Just the way I like it. Not much romance if that's what you're looking for.
Worth it. Time to move on to the next story.😍😀

Good story, reading wasn't done as well

Many places in the audio book you can hear where they cut in a new track, like the narrator messed up or they added something and cut it in. Also Roans character in book 1 had a Scottish accent, now in book 2 it's English, that was disappointing.
over all the story was good, some phrasing seems to repeat itself with Cassandras Mirror travel and a few other things. The book took a rather strange turn at the end there. Story over all was pretty good.

I expected more.

She was a little annoying in this book. She also seemed a little helpless in this one. The first one I loved but this one was okay. Maybe my expectations will be fulfilled in the next book.

Same story different circumstances

Again a weak main character. Isolated from all, FBI and now CIA are after her and the Fae after her. Stupid reasons to do what she is told to do, she plays into what she is manipulated in doing. Making enemies right and left. A pity fest makes me shake my head and wonder why can't an author make a strong woman main character. She always thinks she know what is best and usually wrong, you can see this coming like a head on collusion. Kill her please!
