If you like the movie "Ghost", here it is.
I was entertained but let's acknowledge that the story is essentially "Ghost" with the roles reversed. Even the character's names are the same except Molly's the one who dies instead of Sam. Molly's killer in the book is Wayne Lopez, while Sam was killed by Willie Lopez in Ghost. I'm a little shocked. At first I thought this was was some kind of fan-fiction or something. Further, I'm surprised that no one really seems to mention it in their reviews. It's not like Ghost was an obscure movie, it was nominated for FIVE Academy Awards!
I think this genre has enough potential for unique stories so there's no need to do this. At least humor us and change the names so we can pretend we're enjoying something original.
