Jill did it again.

Great characters and story line. Love how these two have been saving each other for years and finally come together. Lots of issues to overcome and love how Jill makes it all work. A must read

I have been waiting for this story, and it lived up to my expectations. so happy they got t9gether!

I am a long time fan of Jill Shalvis and this book is a fine example of why. Her characters are likable, even when dealing with personal issues and problems. I also love the humor that is regularly injected into her books. A good listen.

The character hav real issues

I love the romance and the comedy! but i really love the issues of the characters.A strong woman refusing to ask for help because of mommy n daddy issues... ummm yup thats a thing!!! An alpha male who get in his own way tryn do what he wants instead of asking others what they want!!❤️❤️❤️ Good book inspired reflection!

YES, as I am on ch 5 as I write this...I wanted to pass on the feel goodness! I am a long time fan of Ms Shalvis, Rumor Has It & Then Came You are in the top 5!
You know you have a winner story when you take the time to savor the telling of it, and not just to fill time and movement, this one joins the above group.

What other book might you compare Accidentally on Purpose to and why?

Jamie Farrel's Her Rebel Heart is another simple feel good story, with lots of laughs.
Katie Graykowski Texas series, with all the wonderful brothers, yum!

Which scene was your favorite?

Ms White, in the top five reader category for me, brings author's work to life with her great male voices and her interpretation of author's humor:

"Mass of mind blowing bodies" as the guys come back in from an Op. Dog Carl "laid down to expose his kibble and bits". When our heroine explains success and in GREAT shoes.
The "Smores" rescue. This is a simple feel good story with lots of pals YOU would want to be around to have fun, have your back, and fall in love.

Was it the book or the narrator?

Both! I have read a lot of Jill's books. This is the first audio I've listened to. I won't do it Again. Apparently when I read I skip cliches and tone down the arrogance of the characters and that cannot be done when listening. In addition, there were too many repeats on the characters background. These were too detailed and slowed down the story... Wheaton women, terrible relationship with his dad. Agh, and the narrators voice annoyed me because the way she read it. This was her interpretation of the story. Too many cliches, I would say them at the same time. Yuk!
