This is good book and entertaining enough. It’s an opposites-attract cowboy rom-com. I actually really liked the cowboy/ranch side of it, Hunter’s a great character and made for a charming and quirky MMC. The book just lacked… something. It was too focused on the physical aspect of the relationship, I guess, lacking in depth. The kissing was a little too frequent and descriptive for my taste, and if I had to hear one more internal comment about how “hot” the other person was… It also didn’t help that the true relationship development (the 3 months of FaceTiming) was glossed over.

I don’t know. The book was entertaining and the audiobook narration was also great… but I don’t think I’ll continue with any more books in the series.

Content:
The word “pissed” was used once, but otherwise the language was clean. There was no sex or violence. There was ogling and minor innuendos. Though the romance stopped at kissing, it was quite descriptive and too heated for my taste. There is no mention of faith or God.

I really loved both main characters. Hunter was a great cowboy MMC. I enjoyed this opposite attract, small town romance, so many sweet moments.
