Such a great sequel!

I have to say this is one of my favorite series I have listened to. I listened to both books in 2 days and am ready to listen again already. This book was great and I love that no matter what happens outside their relationship the main characters forge on without too much drama and lots of steamy parts. 10/10 would recommend getting this book if you like a hot ice queen story.

What a story !! This is by far my favorite!

I'm not sure how I'm going to go on without knowing what happens next for Vivian and Julia. i highly recommend these two books the detailing of the two mcs is my favorite thing about it. This was a different age gap ice queen storyline and I love how Julia stuck it out and didn't give up on the relationship. And can I say I really like Allie she's hilarious. I'm hoping there will be a 3rd so we can find out how Julia's parents react to the baby and if Robert changes his mind about being in the baby's life. Thank you for this wonderful story.

Fair warning….

Yes the book words were hot, but Abby Craden performing them… GET THE AUDIO FOLKS. The ear burn is pleasurable.

Two great books

This book and the previous one is now in my must read again whenever I feel like it.

Loved every minute

I really enjoyed the first book of the series. It was a slow burn but got great towards the end and left me wanting more. Well, the second book delivered. This book was not only a great story but steamy from start to finish. I love the dynamic between Jules and Vivian. This definitely reminded me of the Devil wears Prada but if Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep's characters fell in love. Abby Craden's reading was flawless as always. I highly recommend both books in this series, you won't regret it.

If age-gaps and fire and ice romances…

are your thing, this is the ultimate. Reminiscent of The Devil wears Prada, this story tells the tale of how an ice queen becomes vulnerable to true love. The “love scenes” will have you fanning yourself. You’ll want to listen to this more than once!

We need more!!!

After listening to both these books, all i can say is “WE NEED MORE”! The chemistry of the characters makes me want to follow all the mile stones in their lives. I want the wedding, I need to see Vivian propose. i want Julies’s parents to see their daughter as a mother. I need promotions and work life.

Abby Carden!!! You did that miss lady!! The voice you gave Vivian 🥵🥵. Every love scene you gave it that extra ✨✨. I will now be listening to your talents to learn from as a VO artist myself. I will be listening a lot more or your projects.

Character Development

I love how Julia and Vivian in time learned about each other's tells with simple nonverbal cues. They fit hand in glove. I can't give away more than what I said. Read the book! This is one of those stories that you really fall in love with the characters as you progress through the chapters. I've read it many times and still love it each time.

I do hope tbe author writes a bit more about them. A third book,maybe? So many different ways to do it. I mean, I imagined Julia and Vivian in fabulous coutoure wedding gowns, Vivian reshaping the fahion world, Julia becoming a pulitzer winning non-fiction writer, Simon moving in with boyfriend, and the baby! Don't forget about the baby! This story can go on and on and on until the baby is taking on world and making her own mark.

Maybe, I am just wistful and hope for more. Or maybe this part of the story telling is done.

Lesbian version on the Devil wears Prada

This was such a captivating story, I loved every bit and I’ve listened to these books twice. Would love to hear this story go further. Please bring these characters back for an encore.
