Oppression of women is among us

Our world cannot continue without women, yet societies, religions and cultures continue to control and oppress the gender that brings life into our world.

The sad facts that never change.

The biggest tragedy is that women tend to perpetuate the inhumane cultures inflict on women. The story is same across many cultures. Improvement seems at a snail pace.

Profound, Thought Provoking Book

As an empath this story was so heartbreaking. As I listened to the thoughts of the main characters, it made me think that to a lesser degree, it might resonate with many women, particularly yesterday's women. Those whose who were programmed by patriarchal cultures, religions, pressured and mind screwed into "their place."

A clear view of a culture that I wasn’t familiar with.

Well written and narrated. I learned about the Arab culture and now have a new perspective on Palestine and their culture.
