One problem with the body of Christ is that we are teachable as long as someone teaches what we already believe.

Why do we need spiritual ears to hear when being taught the Word? The key to really knowing God is the same key for understanding all doctrines, and that is to become and remain teachable.

Many within the body of Christ have become dull of hearing. What does it mean to be dull of hearing? The word dull carries the idea of being spiritually lazy, slothful, or hard of hearing. Over time we became dull of hearing and unable to grasp deep truths.

What causes dullness of hearing? How can we fix the problem of being dull of hearing? Pastor Charles answers these and many more questions on maintaining spiritual ears to hear what God is saying.

Why do so many believers fight against sound doctrine? Why do they fight against any teaching that does not align with their denominational creeds? The truth always divides because those who can’t receive truth will part company from those who do.

Some Christians have determined that what they believe has served them well and there is no need to change, no matter what Biblical evidence is placed before. This type of mentality within much of the body of Christ has produced a group of believers who are basically unteachable. Unfortunately, those who are unteachable have a closed mind to anything in the Word that might conflict with what they have been previously taught.
