And she had another secret. One day, the gestapo knocked at her door. “Are you hiding a Jew?” they demanded.

What a faith building story

Wow I listened to this one in three days. Some parts were a bit intense so I had to put it down. Shamefully, I have never really considered what the German families were going through during this time. It’s heartbreaking on all sides. This story is truly inspirational to stand by your faith.

Great book!

The only thing I would change is the song at the end of each chapter. It is a nice song but when it first played I thought the book was over. It became monotonous. A little too long to play over and over at the end of each chapter.
Thank you for the book! It’s a wonderful reminder in todays crazy world that God still takes care of His people and we need to obey no matter what.

Very inspiring story

The music and announcement at the end of each chapter greatly detracts. Once, at the very end would be ok, but on with each chapter. That needs to be deleted. The story itself, though is compelling and outstanding. The narrator also does a great job.

Amazing story

Amazing story of how God is always there for us. When we think that all Hope is gone, he always comes through. The only thing I did not like about this audible version is that the music in the background is a bit distracting and sometimes too loud for the talking. It makes it hard to hear.

I absolutely love this story! I have read the physical book more than 10 times. I got the Audible book to be able to listen to the book while I had to be doing other things. While I still thoroughly enjoy the amazing story, the music playing during the narration was very distracting and too loud. It made it hard to hear the reader clearly. This is an tremendous story! I wish they would just take out the background music.
