I really enjoyed listening to this one.

This is the fourth book in the Reigning Hearts series. This story follows Fiona and Chris. Fiona is an heiress and shockingly has no date for New Years Eve. She simply cannot be seen without a date. Chris is a bartender that lives with his mom. He is trying to save money to fix up his house, and the offer Fiona just threw at him to be her date is just what he is looking for. The problem is he develops feelings for her and tries to push her past the “escort” phase.

A great feel good story

On the surface, Fiona and Chris were as different as night and day. When what starts as a business arrangement starts to morph into something more, is it time to go their separate ways, or can there be something more?

This is the first book by K.G. Fletcher I have listened to, and I loved it. She has written a wonderful story that really tugged at my heartstrings, and then to also narrate it... fantastic!

Getting Out from Behind the Bar

Fiona and Chris are unexpected in so many ways. The cold, self-centered woman we met in book one of the Reigning Hearts series has grown little in the two years since then. The biggest thing that's changed is she's recognizing how lonely her life is. She still pines a bit for Thomas Capshaw but it's more knowing someone is there for her than her actually missing him.

Chris is another character we met very briefly in book one. He was just a side bit then but here, we get a chance to know him and see how big his heart is. He may not have much in terms of money and material things but he makes up for it in so many ways.

I really like how Fiona slowly transforms into someone I would like to be associated IRL. The heat she and Chris give off is as sweet and tender as it is raw and consuming. Do be warned, though, that things get emotional toward the end and I was bleary-eyed. 😍🔥😢💚🔥🎉

Even with the references to Thomas and Emeline's story in book one being referenced, this book can definitely be read or listened to as a standalone. In this case, I listened to an author copy. The author is also the narrator. Kelly does a really good job bringing the characters up off the pages but my comments from the first two books on my preference for a male narrator to join her still holds true. This is always the case for me when there are multiple POVs. 😘

K.G. Fletcher has brought a new light to her Reining Hearts series. Once you start this story, you won't be able to put it down. The characters are Fiona and Chris, they are the perfect couple, even if they don't know it. Well for the richer, and the poorer. They bring a new twist to buying your love. I enjoyed this contemporary romance. K.G.Fletcher! Well Done! I have to include the narrator of this story. Kelly Gabriella Fletcher as she really brought this story to life. I felt like I was watching as this story played out. Well done to both of you!

Fabulous listen and amazing story!!

A Sun So Bright is the third book of the Reigning Hearts series from KG Fletcher. These books can be read or listened to completely as standalones or together in a series. I have to say I struggled with this one but only for a bit. The main female lead, Fiona, is not one that I wanted to like. Darn it all to hades though by the end Fletcher had me feeling all the feels and completely hooked on her as a person. She really grew into a woman I completely never thought possible in those early chapters. I am so glad I stuck with it and was able to see how this sweet little love story played out. I am excited to see what the next book in the series will bring. I am sure it will be its own sweet soul female lead with a completely new spin just like this one and the books before it.

A Sun So Bright is the third book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher. I absolutely loved this book and listening to it was even better than when I read it. This author never ceases to amaze me her style of writing is simply amazing and her characters are fun, relatable and fully developed. This is Fiona and Chris’s story . Fiona comes up with a plan to hire a boyfriend to attend the functions with her so she’s not going alone. Chris is a guy who is living with his mom and saving money for his own house some day. He’s a bar tender. These two holy cow the attraction is there but Fiona is not wanting to admit. What will happen when secrets come out? Can these two have a future together? I highly recommend reading or listening to this book. I can’t wait to listen to more of this authors stories.

Book 3 in Reigning Hearts series

This is book 3 in Fletcher's Reigning Hearts series and is Fiona's story (it can be read as a stand alone but you will have greater appreciation for the characters if read in order).I have to say that after listening to books 1 and 2 previously and how those two characters intermingled, I didn't know who this one would be about and when I found out - I was like Ugh - Fiona...BUT!!! Fletcher has given us a beautiful romance about the value of a person rather than class or social standing. Fletcher did an amazing job of giving us strong characters that were relatable and in Fiona's case had a lot of character development - Chris' character as well to some extent. A touching storyline that's fun, a bit steamy and sweetly beautiful! Narration was smooth and made this listen a complete joy to hear - love that Brooklyn accent!

From HATE to LOVE

It just goes to show you, the saying "never judge a book by its cover" is so true. In this case it's a character.
When K.G. Fletcher introduced us to Fiona in the first installment of the Reigning Hearts series, as Thomas Capshaw's girlfriend, I absolutely hated her. BUT when I started listening to A Sun So Bright the depths of Fiona's character was revealed and I fell in love with her.
Chris on the other hand..... INSTA-LOVE

This was again a superb book in the Reigning Hearts series and as the series develops so does K.G. Fletcher's writing.
Again her talent as a narrator also brought extra heart to the book.
Can't wait to read more.

Fletcher does it again

Fletcher has proven herself to be a one click author with contemporary romance. But she has also proven herself to be an extremely captivating narrator as well. I have always connected with her written words and felt them to my core. Hearing the author bring her characters to life just added a depth to the whole story that was heartfelt and riveting. It’s a beautiful book, beautiful series, and beautiful performance.

An All the Feels Book!!!

I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook A Sun So Bright- Reigning Hearts- Book 3 by KG Fletcher because it was such a wonderful story about Fiona and Chris. To be honest, I didn't like Fiona at first. She was from the 1st book as the girlfriend of Thomas Capshaw. She was petty and wealthy and so snobbish. But as I was listening to this story, Fiona started to grow on me. At first, with Chris, she was still so snobbish and they had a business deal where she wanted to pretend she was dating Chris so she wouldn't be alone at all the functions she had to attend. Chris was a wonderful man and he was a bar tender. He and Fiona started to get closer and things were becoming hot and steamy for them. I really hoped that Fiona and Chris would work out. Things became complicated when the truth came out and things went south after that. This was such a wonderful story that I had tears in my eyes at some parts. It made me feel things. I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest opinion. I loved it and would highly recommend reading. It will make you believe in love and second chances.
