What happens at the end?

This story tells what happens at the end of time as we know it. We follow Kat’s story after the death of her friend. The story contains angels, demons and a face pace explanation of what the end may look like. Some of the characters come from the first book in this series and others are new, read as the second book, or as a stand alone. This will get you thinking and keep you listening or reading for hours.

Inspirational

This is a great second book in the series. I enjoyed listening. It is so inspiring to me to keep doing the work of our Lord.

Interesting

This book was a good follow-up to The Still Small Voice. I recommend the two books be read in order since they are closely connected. Once again I can't say I agreed with the author's take on all the details when compared to Scripture, but read as fiction I could overlook that and enjoy the story as I did with the first book.

Suspenseful and thought provoking!

The Rapture is coming, and Lorana Hoopes sequel to The Still Small Voice has me captivated. The story continues with Kat and Jordan, each having their own voices talking to them and letting them know the next step in the journey before the rapture. It’s exciting as we see a look at what could happen, the way the darkness descends and the look at the way the world begins to change. While it’s speculative, the story’s high tension is exciting and made me take a look at my own faith. Hoopes writes fantastic characters, each with their own stories and level of faith and weaves the story leaving us waiting for the next book in the series! Narrated by herself, Hoopes brings is all alive, with each inflection and each emotion. I loved this installment to the series and am looking forward to the next one.
