The main lesson is to stay happy while experiencing challenges. God is guiding you step by step because he has gone on this path before. What you are learning is new. You need his guidance to understand it. God explains it is time for you to take the next step. He knows you want to discover who you are and why you are going through lifetimes. He sees you are ready to listen.
