It was great to listen to and not get to invested in. Story was a bit drawn out

Story kept my interest, looked forward to hearing it. A bit strung out, but still kept me guessing. Great narration.

Don’t waste your time on this poorly written romance

I was hoping for a fun period investigative adventure. I didn’t even make it past the first chapter. The heroine is so caught up in acting like a dumb preteen in love there is no room for actual story telling. It such a overdone trope to have the nubile young lady hate the rascal gentleman only to realize they’re in love. I thought this was a murder investigation story not a smut romance? The narrator was good and had great character voices.

Disappointing

Story needs work. Main character is not believable. A lot of unnecessary repetition. Felt rough. It needs editing.

Fun story line

I liked the story and the characters. the plot was well laid out and easy to follow. i did feel that the maon character's introspective narrative was very repetitive and detracted from the enjoyment of the overall story.
