The mix of murder and cuisine

The reader was excellent and created a nice atmosphere that added to the story and French vide.

Historical yet fiction

I love the idea of looking into who Julia was, her friends, her recipes, and of course, solving crimes! I love learning facts like the underground and mushroom foraging, and hearing about the outfits, and what women wore then. I love this series of books!
