"A beautiful, lyrical, and achingly brilliant story about love, grief, and family. Henry's writing will leave you breathless." —BuzzFeed

Romeo and Juliet
meets One Hundred Years of Solitude in Emily Henry's brilliant follow-up to The Love That Split the World, about the daughter and son of two long-feuding families who fall in love while trying to uncover the truth about the strange magic and harrowing curse that has plagued their bloodlines for generations.

In their hometown of Five Fingers, Michigan, the O'Donnells and the Angerts have mythic legacies. But for all the tall tales they weave, both founding families are tight-lipped about what caused the century-old rift between them, except to say it began with a cherry tree.

Eighteen-year-old Jack “June” O’Donnell doesn't need a better reason than that. She's an O'Donnell to her core, just like her late father was, and O'Donnells stay away from Angerts. Period.

But when Saul Angert, the son of June's father's mortal enemy, returns to town after three mysterious years away, June can't seem to avoid him. Soon the unthinkable happens: She finds she doesn't exactly hate the gruff, sarcastic boy she was born to loathe.

Saul’s arrival sparks a chain reaction, and as the magic, ghosts, and coywolves of Five Fingers conspire to reveal the truth about the dark moment that started the feud, June must question everything she knows about her family and the father she adored. And she must decide whether it's finally time for her—and all of the O'Donnells before her—to let go.

I just finished listening to “A Million Junes” by Emily Henry, narrated by Julia Whelan, and I’m happy with the satisfied experience. This enchanting tale of magic, love and family legacy kept my attention from the very start. Julia Whelan's narration is, as always, superb, and I'm so ecstatic I chose this book because of her. The story follows June O'Donnell, a strong-willed teenager struggling with her family's complicated past and a centuries-old feud with the Angert family. When Saul Angert returns to town, June’s world is turned upside-down. Henry's writing is captivating, and the themes of love, forgiveness and self-discovery are intertwined throughout Whelan’s magically exquisite narrative. I was audicted with every minute of this listen and can't recommend it enough. It’s truly epic! For those seeking a beautifully told story that will linger long after listening, look no further. An awesome thank you to Whelan and Henry, as well as Audible, for making this alluring book available.

Another amazing performance by Julia Whelan.
I was immediately sucked into this unique yet familiar story with hidden messages that seem just right for our times. I found the end a little long-drawn out and predictable, but still a great story.

Great story, excellent narration

I will listen to anything written by Emily Henry and read by Julia Whelan. Julia’s nuanced narration perfectly complements Emily’s incredible writing.

This story is atmospheric and beautiful and will definitely keep you interested and guessing.

There were parts of the end that were somewhat confusing and unclear, but I didn’t care much because the love story stretched across romance, friendship, and familial bonds so gorgeously.

Emily Henry and Julia Whelan are perfect together
