In the dark, wintry highlands of Lochdubh, Scotland, where the local Calvinist element resists the secular trimmings of Christmas, the spirit of old Saint Nick is about as welcome as a flat tire on a deserted road. Realizing it wasn’t the 3rd in the series, I am eagerly looking forward to book 3 now.

This was my first Hamish Macbeth Mystery. The narration was perfect for the quirky characters of the plot. I’ll be listening to more from this series soon!
