Another Great read

This is another great read in the series,, I would suggest reading them in order, but all are stand-alone , I have one more to read to finish the series , and am so looking forward to it ! this is a True Binge series !!!

To much talking and describing angsting all over the place. Just not enough action to keep my interest. Even fast forwarded to no avail.

Yes! Excellent immersion into a unique and interesting world.

I liked the two main characters; I could feel the tension and chemistry between them building throughout.

Dante by far.

Gift for the King

A Gift for the King is a creative story that includes the kidnapping of human females and mated to different species from other worlds. Female humans being sold as slaves, is something that is approved of because these species females cannot become pregnant and it is only humans that can provide reproduction.
As Lana is gifted to the king, her attempts of escape puts her in danger from the kings ultimate enemy. Once she realizes the danger she is in and how much trouble she has caused, she wonders if she'll ever see her king again.
Albeit I loved the interesting story line and creativity, the one thing that seemed to come up repeatedly in this book was "the spanking". The romance scene's were ok, but the spankings were never sensual and there was no other means of punishment with made the spanking scene's irritating for me, and also felt like a routine in ever chapter.

This story was fun and panty wetting. I'd listen to it again.
Now as to the narrative... This would have been a lot better with a female voice for the female parts. The narrator just didn't do a very good job with the feminine voices. Since it's primarily from the female point of view, it was a bit off putting.

Not for me!

While I don't mind a decent BDSM type story, this audiobook was really not what I expected. The whole focus of this story seemed to be spanking! There seemed to be almost glorifying of punishment as a gleeful activity without any real reason. I didn't care for this audiobook and also the narration was in some affected accent that was just horrible!

A Gift for the King is an incredible adventure that left me wanting more. Boy did the pages sizzle. If you’re into spankings, this audiobook is for you.
