Iro's journey continues to traverse the realms. Aos takes Iro to the Above to partake in a divine ritual. It isn't Aos she's worried about, but the other gods in the Above. Fenroh, King of the Gods, has hidden himself away, and the Goddess of the Hunt is hostile in her presence. But there is something else bothering her, a little mystery in her mind. A name she doesn't recognize keeps popping up in conversation too many times for it to be a coincidence.

Worse, Trolth has been freed from his prison. He promises himself to give back what he has taken. He'll do anything to fulfill that promise. The only one with the knowledge to achieve this great feat is the one who imprisoned him in the first place. Phaeite has something up her sleeve, and he fears that his efforts may be futile.

The tides of good and evil are changing, and it might be that they have switched sides.
