Interesting subject matter for this time period.

Very good story and interesting subject matter for this time period. Kept me interested all the way through.

One of the Best

In Defense of Honor Kristi Ann Hunter creates such an excellent crime that the reader forgets it is still a crime. Reparations must be made. Redemption is needed. Plots like this one make Hunter one of the best Christian Romance authors of our times. Her books entertain, inform and inspire. Her characters delight and find a place in you heart.

Delightful story and narration

I love stories that show adversity and overcoming such. This book has charming characters - the children! - and I engrossing situations. And, beautifully narrated.

Well-crafted

I enjoyed the story and character development; the plot was novel and had great twists! I did get the moral and spiritual side, tho, without the author`s emphasis. I recommend the book!

Magnificent Work of Art!

This is a beautiful story of friendship, forgiveness, trust and mercy. It tells of a family, not bound together by blood, but by love. The narration is superb and heartfelt. I loved everything about it! Kristi Ann Hunter has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I appreciate so much how she makes her stories full of romance, mystery and excitement without any of the garbage (language, sex scenes, etc...) THIS ONE IS A HOME RUN!!!

Inspiring and romantic

I have enjoyed Kristi Ann Hunter’s other Regency series and am glad I finally got to read this one. The premise was really unique, addressing an issue that pops up in other books but never with this take. I enjoyed the dual POV.

Refreshing storyline and author!

I loved the storyline as it brought incite into the real lives and issues of the debutante.

I did not want to stop listening to this book! The story was captivating! I never read books twice but this one I could even listen to again.

Real life

This one makes think about how much things have changed and how they have remained the same at the same time. God’s Grace is always the difference.
THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET! I enjoyed it immensely.

Heavily Christian

I really enjoyed this book, especially since it had an older than genre norm female lead. I loved reading about all of the interesting characters.
My only qualm is how heavily the Christian themes were pushed. (Not a problem, just my personal preference)
There should be a tag for religion in my opinion, as it might make some readers uncomfortable.
