I loved how the author discussed how shaking (that is naturally found in nature where ducks flap their wings after a fight with another duck, etc.) can be used in humans to regulate the nervous system and offload stored trauma. I loved the chapter on stretching exercises that help alleviate some of this aforementioned tension. There were also some nice quotes that started chapters from people like Ghandi, that remind us of why many of us are learning this stuff and doing this work in the first place-to chill out and become more mindful and happier! It was really interaction to learn that when we experience trauma, the vagus nerve becomes disrupted. This was great to realize. Dr. Ron Daulton Jr provides listeners with a wealth of excellent information and actionable exercises.
