But, as the first World War breaks out, was there more to the process than met the eye? And, if Watson assessed Holmes’s knowledge of chemistry as profound, what about his assessment of Holmes’s understanding of politics as feeble? It is as well that Mycroft Holmes, acting in his role as the British Government’s Chief Advisor, can step in to turn matters to Great Britain’s best advantage.

Enjoyable story

A good sherlock Holmes story with a lot of scientific language that I, being trained as a scientist, enjoyed very much. The narration is outstanding.

The story is thrilling, interesting, entertaining, engaging and more. A Benefactor of the Race is the second story in The Discoveries of Sherlock Holmes series. Each story is written by a different Sherlockian from all over the world. Each story is unique to the person. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
