Wonderful book

This book gives hope for hurting marriages and practical lessons to improve communication, listening, loving and compassion. My husband and I are using this in marriage counseling. We are benefiting from it ourselves. highly recommended!

Turning point in our marriage!

This book and the Intensive often mentioned were pivotal for my wife and I. While we were not on the brink of anything drastic, the health of our marriage was poor. My wife feeling we had a 4 out of 10 relationship - certainly not thriving.

After reading the book, and attending the Intensive, she now happily says we are a “10 out of 10” couple, and has a closeness to me she hasn’t felt in our 15 years together. Yes, we liked the book. We were planning going to a retreat in Wimberley, Texas. A Focus On the Family retreat called Hope restored. We want to get as much out of it as we can and so we thought we would read the book ahead of time.

We’re on our way now to a weekend retreat. And I hear the M-F retreats are for folks in need for greater help.
