Men are lazier and more toxic than ever. They complain and bully women online like insecure high schoolers. It seems like real masculine, high-value men are hard to find nowadays. This does not apply to all men but a hit dog will holler. This book uses 30 solid reasons to justify why women need to level up their standards, expectations and boundaries to avoid being used and discarded. We are choosing not to deal with men who lack emotional intelligence, generosity, protectiveness, or care. We want men whose aspirations are greater than getting laid.
Women have it hard enough. We must hold down jobs to take care of ourselves despite job and pay inequalities, and in relationships studies show we carry out most unpaid physical labor, emotional labor, and caregiving. Yet, many men are mad that doing less than the bare minimum isn't acceptable. Nowadays it feels like dating is dead and hookup culture has taken over. This mostly benefits men, as they enjoy shallow, fleeting encounters over authentic connections. Women are tired of men approaching them for situationships, entanglements and hookups. Sadly most men are extremely fickle with relationships, because they don’t form real bonds with women, so they never get to know us as people. This is why many refuse to provide and protect, and why it’s so easy for them to us.
