Resumen del Editor

The battle is coming. Casting your vote in the November 2010 election may be the most important thing you do all year. These elections will be the critical turning point for America's future. They're our chance to take back America. Dick Morris and Eileen McGann outline a strategy for victory, explaining the pitfalls and walking us through a path to winning control of Congress.

The stakes: We face permanently high unemployment, socialized medicine, rampant inflation, perpetual debt slavery, and a European-style government-run economy.

The targets: Thirteen Senate seats and 54 House races will determine control of Congress.

The strategy: Make Obama the issue. Attack his policies at their weakest points. Nationalize the campaign. Stay on the offensive.

Your campaign: Politics is no longer a spectator sport. 2010: Take Back America is the training manual you need to win.

In 2010, you are the campaign. America is the battleground. And we must prevail.

I Suspected As Much!

Dick Morris hits the nail on the head (over and over and over again) in this captivating book that's pretty predictable for the most part, but very informative and enlightening.

I really enjoyed it, and even though I'm a registered Democrat, I just couldn't bring myself to vote for Obama because his promises made on the campaign trial were just "too good to be true" and I just felt that there was no way that they could be fulfilled with our economy needing the attention that it needed.

Great book and I would highly recommend it to anyone on both sides of the political aisle. Maybe we can all see more clearly now the direction that our country needs to take moving forward.

Right On!

This was a book that needed to be written. It's so indicative of what the Obama crew is doing.

Excellent information

Reading the previous review, I couldn't disagree more. Especially helpful is the download of data which Morris uses to back up what he is saying. Sadly, we live in a world where the Democratic leadership is taking us further and further down the road of socialism, and denial of being involved in a war on terror. Morris looks at his previous party, and how little "free thinking" is allowed within the Democratic Party in Part One. Part two proposes how the Republicans can "Take America Back". Much of what he says can be seen in the many interviews he does, only this book gives you the data from which he works.

Must have for your collection!

This book is so good, I'm buying the hard copy as well. I really didn't know too much about the author, but now I'm a strong fan of this guy. If you have an open mind you will find this a very interesting book with useful information. It would probably be offensive to socialists and socialist Europeans. The book may be a little dramatic in terms of vilifying Obama, I don't know if I agree that the President has a diabolical plan. I do understand the scope and consequences of this administration's policies though. Dick Morris lays out fair evidence and arguments. I have bookmarked many parts of this book for my own follow up. In any case, it is very well worthwhile.

Take This Book Back

I wouldn't call this work a "book". It is actually a long-winded string of cliches and banners meant to appeal to the grunt emotional level or two dimensional thinkers. It is as if, Morris needed some cash and, lying awake at night thinking about how to get some, decided to quickly dish out this work in case the rage began to settle.
He even disses Thomas Jefferson based on his naive understanding of events and attitudes at the time of the Declaration, Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Pass on this bare-faced money grab by Morris The Light Weight. Go for "Freedom to Choose" by Milton Friedman, an original-thinking, provoking 30 year old explanation of the events that are shaking this Country that many of us still know and love.
