    • "What a read! Morris fleshed out the world of Slay so richly. As a White person myself who has a limited understanding of Black culture, this was so refreshing to read. Her portrayal and knowledge of diverse Black culture and the richness of how it translated to the gaming world and the lives of the main characters was dynamic and educational. The performances were fantastic as well. Clemmons (reading as Kiera) gives an enthusiastic performance. I finished the book in two days and found it to be more complex than I had anticipated.
